A Fashion Week guest has completed a demanding eight-hour shift choosing clothes in which to watch other people wear clothes for approximately twelve minutes.
The attendee rejected three coats because they suggested excessive effort and a fourth because it did not convey how little effort she was making.
Her eventual look required two borrowed items, a specialist courier and the temporary suspension of natural movement in one shoulder.
At the venue, she posed looking surprised to discover photographers she had contacted the previous evening. She then walked past the entrance twice to make the surprise easier to document.
The show itself was described as extraordinary. No further detail was available because her phone had been facing her.
Afterwards she posted that the city’s creative energy was unmatched, accompanied by seven pictures of a doorway. The designer appeared as a small, uncredited blur in the eighth.
Back at home, she began preparing an effortless outfit for the next morning. This involved a spreadsheet and a disagreement about shoes.
Industry analysts say the real growth market is now clothing designed specifically to be returned before anybody has to sit down in it.
